Our experience has shown us that simply offering one type of lesson at a standard hourly rate is insufficient. Different students have a series of divergent needs, and some require something extra. We service Brisbane, Cleveland, Thornlands, Capalaba, Redland Bay, Victoria Point and all areas between.
OUR SERVICES
Standard Tuition
Standard tuition is simple. Your tutor will deliver individualised lessons built around the student's needs. You will receive a qualified, experienced tutor that will help the student digest content, write assignments and prepare for exams in the subject area(s) requested. You will also receive verbal/text feedback at the end of each lesson. Standard private tutoring for senior/primary maths, science, English and humanities can be delivered online or at the student’s home in Brisbane or the Redlands.

In addition to your tutor delivering individualised lessons for an agreed number of hours per week, the student will be able to ask your tutor a limited number of questions throughout the week to ensure that their academic progress is both smooth and consistent. The tutor will also contact the teachers of the student to ensure that the progress at home is being matched by progress in the classroom. Premium private tutoring for senior/primary maths, science, English and humanities can be delivered online or at the student’s home in Brisbane or the Redlands.

Only eight spots are available in our ATAR program each term, for the subjects of mathematics (all levels), English (all levels), chemistry and biology. In this, our three highest-performing and most experienced tutors offer an all-inclusive program designed to boost the results of students in their final years at school.
You will receive 2-3 hours of tuition per week and a weekly 30-minute check-in at the end of each week. In addition to this, your student will have unlimited weekday communication with the tutor. Should they have a question or worry, the tutor will endeavour to be back to the student within the hour. As assessment pieces approach, the tutor will also provide their own exams, worked solutions and past assignments to ensure the student understands the task and is as prepared as they can be. Finally, the student will receive a university preparation lesson with the tutor.
This program for senior maths (general, methods and specialist) and science (biology, chemistry and physics) can be delivered online or at the student’s home in Brisbane or the Redlands.

Of course. We offer free discovery and arrangement calls. In your discovery call, Harvey will ask questions about the academic and personal needs of the student. Following this, Harvey will allocate you the tutor that best fits the needs that were outlined and arrange an arrangement call. In the arrangement call, you and the tutor will have a more in-depth chat about the student and organise the lesson times and delivery (in-person or online). Both calls will last between five to fifteen minutes.

For senior students (years 9-12), we recommend starting with 1-2 hours per week. You are welcome to increase/decrease this depending on your child’s need, although the minimum lesson length is 1 hour.

Both are highly effective. Time-poor parents and students benefit immensely from online tuition, as do students in locations we cannot physically service. We have offered online tuition for two years and almost every parent and student is surprised by the fact that they are as beneficial as in-person lessons.

Our tutors have a range of qualifications. Many have undergraduate or are close to finishing their undergraduate studies in the subject area that they specialise in. A select few also have, or are studying their postgraduate degrees at Brisbane’s most prestigious universities.
